Dezeen Showroom: designer Huan Rou Chang has created the Konnect pendant lamp for lighting brand Seeddesign, which features adjustable LED bars that users can arrange into various lighting designs.
The brand designed the seed-jack joint to give the lamp its adjustable quality. It allows individual lighting bars to be connected wirelessly to shine light in upward and downward directions.
"Influenced by modernist architecture, Konnect displays light in multiple ways between functional illumination and customizable art decor," said Seeddesign.
"The light bars are rotatable and the lamp could be either a parallel neat shape or flipped spread shape at random."
Seeddesign created Konnect to provide interior spaces with "ever-changing perspectives, evoking every poetic moment".
Available in matte black and sand gold colours, the modular design of the lamp makes it easy for individual light bars to be repaired and replaced.
