Forget the freezing temperatures—the race for this year’s next big design trend is just heating up. From scalloped rattan lampshades to concrete statement tables, here are some standouts from the latest round of releases.
Studio M Lighting tapped Los Angeles–based designer Mat Sanders for a characterful collaboration. The collection features seven series of bold yet minimalist designs, including Chips, a large-scale pendant light with gently curved perforated metal shades, and Cavalier, an asymmetrical sconce with leather accents.
Phillip Jeffries’s latest collection of wallcoverings, Urban Fringe, is a study in contrasts. The spirited series boasts 19 wallpaper designs with a mix of classic and contemporary motifs in an array of versatile colorways, including the black-and-gold kintsugi-style Adorn print and Beat, a pastel-hued ombré stunner with free-flowing brushstrokes.
Photographer Gray Malin released an après-ski-inspired photo series titled Dogs of Aspen. Available in three different sizes of prints, the heartwarming collection showcases an assortment of beloved dog breeds at various ski resorts, with a portion of all proceeds going to the Aspen Animal Shelter.
Moe’s Home Collection has released Rocca, a sculptural furniture series that includes two dining tables, a side table, a bench and a coffee table. The pieces make a monolithic statement with outdoor-friendly black concrete and fiberglass and their curvy metal frames.
Pottery Barn Kids and Teen unveiled the latest additions to its ongoing collaboration with Monique Lhuillier. Inspired by the fashion designer’s ruffled Secret Garden wedding gown, the Spring collection spans bedding, furniture, light fixtures and decor in fanciful motifs, including a table lamp adorned with crystal butterflies and a quilt covered in flowery rosettes.
Removable-wallpaper brand Tempaper launched a biomorphic collection called The Wilds. The series features four nature-inspired prints across nine earthy colorways, including the pale pink design of the botanical Pastel Palm and the Cornflower Blue hue of the feathery foliage motif Grassroots.
Magnolia just dropped its spring collection curated by Joanna Gaines. Brimming with calming hues, natural textures and vintage-inspired pieces, the rustic assortment offers everything from frosted seafoam green vases to nubby bouclé upholstered sofas and marble link accents, and is available through the brand’s e-commerce site beginning today.
Houston-based homewares shop Maison Maison debuted a delightful line of lampshades called Woven. Teeming with trendy old-school motifs, the assortment features six handwoven designs available in multiple colorways, including a scalloped shade made of teal blue rattan and a bell-shaped style composed of ivory seagrass.
In an effort to reduce waste, New York–based brand Outlines unveiled its sustainably minded Shower Liner System. Made from recyclable, nontoxic PEVA and pure cotton canvas, the innovative shower curtain is designed with magnets that allow you to remove and replace the bottom half whenever it gets grimy (so the whole thing doesn’t end up in the trash).
