The Box Street Social is aiming to have the company's first brick-and-mortar, Box Street All Day, open at Hemisfair before the end of the year. 

After a pandemic-related slowdown, Box St. All Day is ready to open in Hemisfair. The business, which started as popular food truck and catering service in 2015, has grown into a full-scale restaurant in the heart of downtown San Antonio. 

Box St. All Day will welcome its inaugural guests on Thursday, December 16, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., according to social media announcements. Owners Edward Garcia and Daniel Treviño are accepting bookings on OpenTable. Times are still available as of this write.

Chef-owner Garcia previously told MySA the restaurant will offer brunch all day, joking that his restaurant would be the perfect spot for a "third or fourth date." He described the space at The '68, a mixed-use development centered around the Tower of the Americas, as being "coastal" with indoor and outdoor seating.

The Instagram-worthy interior designed by Carolina Garcia-Bowman features fresh pops of pink, plenty of greenery, rattan pendant lighting, and a few selfie opportunities like an "It's all good baby, baby" wall and a neon light fixture. The patio, which boasts views of the tower, is canopied with luxe silky pink umbrellas for a classic touch. 

First look photos shared by the restaurant show decked-out French toast, burgers, and cocktails among the menu items. Box St. All Day also offers an espresso bar.
